Sergeant Delanie Womack graduated from Central Carolina Community College in 2011, with an Associate’s degree in Arts. In May of 2012, Delanie graduated from BLET and was hired by the Pittsboro Police Department later that fall. Delanie has worked in the Patrol Division as well as the Community Police Officer. She serves as a Board Member-at-Large on the North Carolina Crime Prevention Association and serves on several local coalitions to include Chatham Drug Free and Chatham Safe Kids. In 2019, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Western Carolina University and was awarded her Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate. Delanie currently serves as the Detective Sergeant.
