Unified Development Ordinance (UDO)
Adopted in May 2021, the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) regulates development in the Town of Pittsboro. It includes regulations on zoning, subdivision, stormwater management, and the conservation of natural resources.
The UDO is a “living document,” meaning that the Town can amend it as needed. This is done through text amendments, which the Board of Commissioners review and approve. Click the hyperlink below to view the current version of the UDO.
Archived Ordinances
