Town Offices Closed Due to Hurricane Ian; In-Person Services Unavailable

PITTSBORO, NC – Due to impacts from Hurricane Ian, the Town of Pittsboro will be closing all Town Offices at 2:00 PM today (Friday, 30 September 2022). We are taking this action to help keep our employees and the public safe.

If you wish to pay your water bill online, you can access the payment portal by CLICKING HERE. You can also use any other method to pay utility bills such as pay-by-phone and using the dropbox in the drive-through. Information on these methods can be found by visiting the Town Website

The Police Department is also closed to visitors and walk-in services. Should you need to speak to a police officer, please contact Chatham County Emergency Communications using the non-emergency number (919-542-2911) and explain that you need to speak to a Pittsboro Police Officer.

Town Hall and other offices will reopen as usual on Monday, 03 October 2022, at 8:30 AM.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
