Town of Pittsboro to Hold Community Meetings for Future Land Use Plan Update; Survey Now Available in Spanish
PITTSBORO, NC – The Town of Pittsboro continues to move forward with the process of updating our Future Land Use Plan (FLUP). Community input in the plan development process is essential for the plan to be of value and guide the Town as we work on managing future development projects. We want to invite residents, business owners, and visitors to attend one of two community meetings/open house events to learn more about the FLUP development process and what material the plan contains.
Our community meetings will be held on November 15th, 2022, at the old Chatham County Agriculture Building (located at 65 East Chatham St, Pittsboro). The meetings will last about 90 minutes and begin at 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
Input can still be provided by visiting the FLUP Survey Site by CLICKING HERE or visiting https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PittsboroLUP.
For those who wish to provide their comments and input in Spanish, the survey is now available by CLICKING HERE or visiting https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PittsboroLUP_esp.
Please note that the surveys will close on November 15th, 2022.
Please regularly check in on the Planning Department’s FLUP website by CLICKING HERE or visiting https://pittsboronc.gov/387/Land-Use-Plan-Update.
